The Ultimate Summer Caffeine Fix
Cool off this summer with a chilled cup of iced coffee

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground coffee with water.
  2. Cover the mix and then allow it to sit at room temperature overnight.
  3. Now line a fine mesh strainer with cheesecloth and set it over a pitcher or other container.
  4. Pour the mixture through the strainer and allow all the liquid to flow through. Throw away the grounds.
  5. Place the coffee liquid in a fridge and allow it to cool. Use as needed.
  6. To make iced coffee, pack a glass full of ice cubes.
  7. and then fill a glass 2/3 full with coffee liquid.
  8. Add a good quantity splash of half-and-half.
  9. Add 2-3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (can use plain sugar instead) and stir to combine. Taste and adjust half-and-half and/or sweetened condensed milk as needed.
