To cheer Lily up she made her try ‘sumbitches’ which were nothing but Chocolate Chips and Caramel Cookies. To be honest, they are sumbitches because they taste so damn good!

• 3 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp coarse salt
• 1 3/4 cups brown sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsps vanilla extract
• 2 cups Chocolate Chips
• 18 caramel candies cut into six pieces each

Instructions

1. Begin by preheating the oven at 350°F.
2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In another bowl, beat together the brown sugar, butter, and white sugar till it becomes creamy and then one by one beat in the eggs and continue blending.
4. Add vanilla extract and continue whisking.
5. Now stir in the flour mixture till the dough is combined and then lastly stir in the chocolate chips.
6. Divide the dough into 36 balls each about the size of 2 tablespoon.
7. Place the cookie dough on a baking sheet and press down 3 pieces of candy in each dough ball.
8. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes till they turn golden and cool on a wire rack before eating.
