Harry Potter Hagrid’s Rock Cakes Recipe

on

The release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is just around the corner and will mark another milestone in the Harry Potter journey. The film’s screenplay is written by JK Rowling and explores the wizarding world in New York in a time of crisis.

While Harry and his friends don’t feature in the movie, we thought we’d share a recipe from one of the Harry Potter books in a tribute to the wizarding world in general.

Hagrid’s Rock Cakes

What better recipe to share than something which Hagrid made? Hagrid’s obsession with fantastic beasts is no secret – when he’s not sheltering dragons and befriending giant spiders, he’s lavishing attention on hippogriffs, unicorns and Fluffy, the three headed dog.

We’re going back to a time when he made rock cakes and served them to Harry, Ron and Hermione – unlike Hagrid’s, these promise to be delicious treats.
