Harry Potter Firewhisky Recipe

You have to have finished reading ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ by now. Don’t worry, even if you haven’t we’re not giving away too many spoilers. Let’s just say that Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco Malfoy are all grown up with kids of their own. And, their kids have a penchant for getting into some unusual scrapes just like their parents. After the events of the play, we’re sure all the characters (and you) need a goof stiff drink. Since most of the Harry Potter characters can now legally have some, how about a glass of Firewhisky?

Firewhisky

Firewhisky is an alcoholic drink consumed by wizards and witches; popular brands are Ogden’s Old Firewhisky and Bilshen’s Firewhisky.

Firewhisky fills the drinker with courage and causes a burning when drunk.

Have this firewhisky as a pre-dinner drink or as a nightcap.

• 250 ml whiskey
• 2 cinnamon sticks
• 1/8 cup brown sugar
• 2 tbp tabasco sauce

Instructions

1. Combine the sugar, cinnamon sticks and whiskey and allow to sit in a sealed bottle for a week.
2. Mix the tabsasco sauce into a glass of the whiskey, serve and enjoy.
