For the icing
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease the cake tin and line with baking parchment.
Break the chocolate into a heatproof bowl and boil over a double boiler till it melts.
Mix butter, sugar and cream till its combine and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs and add flour if they curdle.
Fold in the flour and add the melted chocolate and the brandy and mix well.
Pour the mix into the cake tin and bake for about 50-55 minutes.
Test the center with a toothpick and remove once it comes out clean.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Add butter and cream to the melted chocolate and mix till smooth.
Pour the icing over the cake and smoothen using a spatula making sure the center and sides and covered with it.
Put the chocolate shavings as garnish.
