Granola Bar Day: Chocolate Granola Bar Recipe
A Healthy & Tasty Snack!
Using parchment paper, line a baking tray.
Mix together the oats, quinoa, chia seeds, almonds, cherries and chocolate in a bowl.
Place a saucepan on a low flame and heat up the almond butter, honey, coconut oil along with half a teaspoon of salt while stirring constantly till you get a smooth texture.
Add the prune puree and give it a good mix.
Now pour this entire mixture on top of the oats mixture and stir well.
Using your hands, form this granola mixture into bars and put them on the baking tray.
Refrigerate for about an hour and once set, put them in an airtight container and back into the refrigerator for storing.
