Game Of Thrones Plum Wine Recipe

on

The Queen took a flagon of sweet plum wine from a passing servant girl and filled Sansa’s cup. “Drink,” she commanded coldly. “Perhaps it will give you courage to deal with truth for a change.”

Game Of Thrones seems to be taking forever to make a comeback with its final season and the final books, Winds of the Winter. And while we wait, we might strike a pose as Cersei, sip on this awesome plum wine and re-read or binge watch. As we wait, for winter might be here now, but there’s another one that we wait for.

  1. Squash the plums in a sterilized fermentation bucket leaving in the pits.
  2. Meanwhile bring the water to a boil and when it does, pour it over the squished plums.
  3. Cover the bucket and leave it for 3-4 days but remember to swirl it once daily.
  4. After the 4 days are past add the lemon juice and stir.
  5. Sprinkle the yeast on top and stir after one hour.
  6. Cover again and put in a warm place for 3-4 days and stir once or twice daily.
  7. Using a sieve and a siphon hose, transfer the wine to a demijohn and close it up for two weeks.
  8. After the two weeks are over, transfer the wine into a new demijohn and strain the sediment once again while doing so.
  9. Try the wine after three weeks, you can bottle it all at this point or just bottle up some and leave the rest to age for a few more weeks.
