Instructions
  1. In a saucepan add brown sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, chocolate liqeur, one half of the chocolate, golden syrup and salt.
  2. Mix the ingredients over medium heat and cook till the chocolate melts.
  3. Now bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer on low heat for five minutes while stirring on frequent basis.
  4. Take the pan away from the flame and add the left over chocolate along with butter and vanilla.
  5. Stir till you get a smooth sauce and then leave it to cool down for half an hour.
  6. Break apart the brownies and add them to the sundae bowl.
  7. Drizzle the sauce over the brownies and then scoop the ice cream into the sundae bowl.
  8. Pour over some more sauce and finish off with whipped cream and a cherry on top.
