    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a cake mould.
    2. Keep aside about eight nuts for garnish and blitz the rest in a food processor.
    3. Melt the butter in a pan over low flame and then keep it aside to cool.
    4. Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl till you get a lemon colour.
    5. Now add flour, baking powder, salt and ground nuts and mix.
    6. Keep beating the mixture while pouring the melted butter with the other hand.
    7. Pour the batter in the cake mould and bake it in the oven for about 40 minutes till done.
    8. Cool the cake in the pan and then remove it onto the serving plate.
    9. Bring the whipping cream to a boil in a pan then remove from the flame and mix in the chocolate chips and mix till smooth.
    10. Add vanilla extract and pour over the cake.
    11. Garnish with hazelnuts and raspberries.
