In FRIENDS, there's one episode when Monica, in an attempt to get to know her neighbours better, cooks up a batch of Christmas candy. They absolutely love it and Monica goes a little crazy trying to keep up with their demands. Here's a recipe inspired by her candy.

Instructions
  1. Mix the white sugar, corn syrup and water together.
  2. Cook over a medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar dissolves.
  3. Heat without stirring until 300 F.
  4. Take off the heat and stir in the extract.
  5. Pour onto a cookie sheet and dust with the confectioners’ sugar.
  6. Allow to cool and break into pieces.
  7. Serve.
