Instructions
  1. Take a large pot and add water to it to about 2 inches up and bring that to a boil.
  2. Add clams and reduce the heat.
  3. Cook the clams in the water for about 10 minutes till the shells open up.
  4. Remove the clams and cool them down.
  5. Take out the clam meat and mince it.
  6. Break the clam shells from its hinges and wash thoroughly.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F and meanwhile in a pan, melt some butter and add the onion to it.
  8. Once the onion begins to soften add garlic, cook for about a minute and add parsley, bread crumbs, clam meat, lemon juice and clam juice.
  9. Mix well till all the stuffing is moist.
  10. Put the clam shells on the baking dish and put in a little stuffing in each of them.
  11. Sprinkle parmesan over the stuffing and put the clams in the preheated oven to cook for 20-25 minutes.
  12. The clams are cooked when the cheese is a little brownish in colour.
