Eggless Marble Cake Recipe (Hindi)

Home-baked sponge cakes are always a few steps ahead of store or bakery bought. If not yummier, they are definitely special. And what makes these homemade sponge cakes a tad more special is that added vanilla essence and some cocoa powder. What if both of these came together in a classic eggless marble cake?

The marble cake gets its name from its appearance with boasts of gorgeous contrasting swirls – usually a mix of vanilla and chocolate. And owing to that, the taste too is a delicious blend of the two flavours giving this sponge cake a special place in our hearts. Eggless Marble Cake Recipe (Hindi)
A classic vanilla and chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
Instructions
  1. मक्खन और चीनी को एक साथ अच्छी तरह फ़ेंट लें। अब इस घोल में दूध व सिर्का डालकर मिलाँए। आखिर में, १ बड़ा चम्मच मैदा अलग करके, बाकी सारा मैदा बैटर में मिलालें।
  2. बैटर को २ भाग में अलग करलें। एक भाग में बचा हुआ १ बड़ा चम्मच मैदा मिलालें और दूसरे भाग में १ बड़ा चम्मच चौकलेट पाउडर डालकर मिलाँए।
  3. केक बनाने वाले बरतन (८" चौड़ा) को मक्खन या तेल से चिकना कर उसमें बारी बारी से १ चम्मच सफ़ेद बैटर और फिर १ चम्मच भूरा बैटर डालें जब तक बरतन भर जाए।
  4. १८० डिग्री सेन्टीग्रेड पर २०-२५ मिनट के लिए बेक करें। पकने पर बाहर निकाल कर टण्डा होने दें।
  5. आइसिंग के लिए, मक्खन, आइसिंग शुगर, पिघला हुआ चौकलेट, और चौकलेट पाउडर को फ़ेंट कर केक के ऊपर फैला लें और परोसें।
