  1. Heat 1 cup of ghee.
  2. In a bowl, add1 cup besan and pour half of warm ghee in it.
  3. Mix besan well with ghee and rub flour between palms to get crumbly texture. Pass the mixture through a thick sieve to remove any lumps.
  4. Fry the besan mix in the remaining ghee while stirring continuously till light brown in colour.
  5. In another pan, roast 1 cup of milk cheese till it turns light golden brown.
  6. Make sugar syrup of 1 thread consistency from 1½ sugar and 1 cup water.
  7. Add roasted mawa to sugar syrup and mix well till mawa dissolves in sugar syrup. Add ½ tbsp of rose water to sugar syrup.
  8. Add the sugar syrup mixture to cooked besan mixture and stir continuously till the mixture is cooked
  9. Add ¼ tsp cardamom powder, 5-6 strands saffron and mix well. Put the mixture in muffin tray to set and harden in refrigerator.
