Instructions
  1. Immerse jaggery in water and heat it up until it bubbles and is thick like honey in consistency. Strain to remove impurities.
  2. Take all the ingredients except dry ginger powder and soak it in water till for 2 hrs. Transfer all the ingredients to a mixer.
  3. Grind it to a semi fine paste.
  4. Add dry ginger powder and mix well.
  5. Now mix this paste and jaggery syrup and heat for 2 minutes until its frothy then mix well.
  6. Simmer and keep mixing, at one stage it will start becoming thick, for 15 minutes.
  7. When its thick and has the consistency of halwa, add the oil and keep stirring for 3 minutes and finally add ghee and then switch off.
  8. Cool down and store in an airtight container.
