Instructions
  1. Soak the poha in water for about five minutes, drain and set aside.
  2. Mash together the potatoes along with the poha, basil, oregano, cumin powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, coriander powder,turmeric powder, garlic powder, peas and salt.
  3. Mix well using your hands and divide into six equal portions.
  4. Make patties out of each portion and refrigerate them for half an hour.
  5. Make a batter using all three flours, salt, oil and water as required to get a thin consistency.
  6. Put breadcrumbs in a bowl and begin dipping the patties in the batter and then coating it with breadcrumbs.
  7. Once done, refrigerate the patties once again for another half an hour.
  8. Heat the oil for shallow frying and fry the patties till you get a golden colour on both sides.
  9. Drain the excess oil on paper towels and keep the patties aside.
  10. Mix the mayonnaise and the ketchup in a bowl.
  11. Grill the burger buns on a saucepan till crispy golden.
  12. Spread the mayonnaise and ketchup mixture on the insides on the buns and place the patties.
  13. Finish with onion slices and the topmost bun.
  14. Serve hot.
