Classic Deviled Eggs Recipe

Eggs are a versatile food item. There is so much that one can do with eggs. Right from simple things like poaching and frying them to fancier preparations like scotched eggs and classic deviled eggs, the recipes are innumerable. Not only are eggs delicious in every form, but also a rich source of nutrients like protein, while consisting of zero to nil fat and cholesterol.

But speaking of fancy egg dishes, let us make some classic devil eggs. The preparation are excellent snacks and can even double up as party appetizers. Follow the recipe below to make yourself some delicious deviled eggs!

Instructions
  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and immerse completely in water.
  2. Heat on high until water begins to boil. Then cover, turn the heat to low, and cook for another minute.
  3. Remove from heat and leave covered for 14 minutes, then rinse under cold water continuously for 1 minute.
  4. Crack eggshells and carefully peel.
  5. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, removing yolks to a medium bowl, and placing the whites on a serving platter.
  6. Mash the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork.
  7. Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  8. Evenly disperse heaping teaspoons of the yolk mixture into the egg whites.
  9. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
Recipe Notes

Alternatively, you can fill the yolk mix in an icing cone and fill the egg whites evenly using the cone.
