Instructions
  1. Combine the chow chow, sambar powder, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker.
  2. Pour in a cup of water and stir until the powders dissolve.
  3. Pressure cook for three whistles.
  4. While the chow chow cooks, grind the ingredients for grinding together with a little water.
  5. After three whistles, open the pressure cooker and add the paste.
  6. Allow the mixture to come to a boil.
  7. Temper the ingredients in the tempering list and add to the curry.
  8. Stir and allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
  9. Take the curry off the flame and enjoy!
