Ingredients: 1 packet Noodles; 2 tbsp Oil; 2 cloves sliced garlic; 1/2 inch grated ginger; 3 green onions (chopped in rounds); 18 ounce mixed vegetables like carrots, capsicum and cabbage; 3 tbsp dry sherry; 2 tbsp light soy sauce; 1 tbsp dark soy sauce; 1 tbsp oyster sauce; pepper to taste

While Matt shoots out the egg roll we aren’t repulsed because the meal looks quite homely. Here’s a quick recipe to replicate that magic at home and of course perfect for Netflix and chill.

Cook Time 10 mins

Ingredients

1 packet Noodles
2 tbsp Oil
2 cloves sliced garlic
1/2 inch grated ginger
3 green onions chopped in rounds
18 ounce mixed vegetables like carrots, capsicum and cabbage
3 tbsp dry sherry
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil the noodles according to the packet and drain the excess water.
Heat oil and add garlic, ginger and green onions.
Stir fry for half a minute and then add the vegetables.
Stir fry for about 3 minutes and then add the sherry.
Once the sherry has evaporated, mix in the noodles along with the sauces and pepper.
Continue to stir fry for about 2 minutes or till done.
Serve hot garnished with some scallions.
