Breaking Bad Blue Sky Rock Candy Recipe

on

Breaking Bad has wrapped up, but the hit TV show is still constantly in the news; a mobile game of the show for IOS has been launched, its spin-off, ‘Better Call Saul’ is receiving rave reviews and some are even speculating another spin-off starring Jesse Pinkman.

Blue Sky

Anyone who’s watched the show knows that it revolves around the crystal meth business and the popularity of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s ‘Blue Sky’ meth. This conversation between Pinkman, White and Tuco Salamanca sums up the attitude towards Blue Sky:

Tuco: “What is this? This is blue.”

Walter: “We used a different chemical process, but it is every bit as pure.”

Jesse: “It may be blue, but it’s the bomb.”

In  honour of the legendary blue meth, we’ve decided to share with you our very own Blue Sky recipe. We’re talking about a completely legal product here, of course – candy. We have no chemistry skills, but using our culinary skills we’ve tested out a few recipes for blue rock candy that looks pretty similar to what White and Pinkman used to sell. Make some and taste it to see if this can also be called “the bomb.”

Serving Suggestions

After making this candy, store it in a cool dry area. Serve it as a snack during TV show marathon nights.
