  1. Take the bread and cut it into cubes.
  2. Now in a pan, add 2 tbsp of oil.
  3. Once the oil is heated, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  4. Once they splutter, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds.
  5. Saute until they crackle and change colour.
  6. Now, add ⅓ cup chopped onion.
  7. Stir and saute until they become translucent.
  8. Now, add 1 green chilli, 1 tsp finely chopped ginger and 6 to 7 curry leaves.
  9. Saute for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  10. Now, dd ½ cup finely chopped tomatoes. about 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped.
  11. Now, add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp red chili powder and a pinch of asafoetida
  12. Saute well. Add salt to taste.
  13. once the tomatoes soften and oil is released from both sides, add the bread and mix well
  14. Saute the bread until they become crisp at the edges.
  15. Now garnish with coriander leaves and serve
