Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Saute onions in the butter for 3 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce is reduced to about 2 2/3C (630ml), which takes approximately 30 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
