Chicken Curry Recipe
In American Gods, when Shadow and Wednesday are in San Francisco a woman named Easter offer “Eggs, roast chicken, chicken curry, chicken salad…” They don’t get to taste many of these dishes, but today we thought we’d share a recipe for a chicken curry Easter may have served. Enjoy!

  1. Heat the oil and sauté the onion, garlic and ginger paste for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato puree and sauté for another two minutes.
  3. Stir in the spice powders and sauté for a minute.
  4. Stir in the chicken pieces and sauté for 8-10 minutes.
  5. Pour in the stock and allow the curry to simmer.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, serve with white rice.
