Starbucks’ innovation train is not going to stop anytime soon. With a number of delicious and healthy additions like the organic avocado spread and gluten-free breakfast sandwich already upping the coffee giant’s ante, Starbucks has introduced us to yet another refreshing cold brew to battle the soaring temperature.
The coffee company is all set to bring a wave of beachy freshness to your palate with a limited-edition Toasted Coconut Cold Brew, which will be available at all Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada. According to Starbucks, Jalao, a coconut candy popular in the Dominican Republic, was the inspiration behind this new cold brew flavor, which offers a tropical twist to a classic warm weather drink. The beverage draws its coconut essence using a brand new toasted coconut syrup. In addition to the syrup and Starbucks’ Nariño 70 Cold Brew, the new beverage also comes with a generous splash of coconut milk, reports Refinery29.
And of course, you can play around with the toasted coconut syrup to create interesting variants of your favourite Starbucks drinks! Basically, if coconut milk is what gets your system going in the hot months, then Starbucks just concocted your caffeinated holy drink!
