Recently Amul ran a print commercial featuring a caricature of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sporting the iconic purple lipstick that the actress wore at Cannes. And now the company is back with yet another muse in its ad – Raghuram Rajan.
Subramaniam Swamy’s recent open-fire on Rajan, suggesting the latter should be sacked, has created quite a stir. With 44,000 signatures already garnered, RBI might just be under Raghuram Rajan’s wing for another 3 years.
Moving on to Amul, the co-operative has been popular for running topical adverts that feature current affairs with a pinch of pun and a twist of fun. Released on Tuesday, here’s what the ad looks like.
