After ‘Northern Flavours‘ with Ajay Chopra and ‘Ganga – The Soul Of India‘ with Dia Mirza, Living Foodz is all set to bring all that delicious richness to our TV rooms with their latest show ‘Food Tripping’.

The Royals of India have left behind rich tales of culture, tradition and most importantly food. The desi Kings and Queens had some seriously rich (no pun intended) foods cooking in their kitchens.

Ace chefs Ranveer Brar and Gautam Mehrishi will take you on an exquisite expedition to six palaces of Western India. Sneak a peek into the royal lifestyles and proficient cuisines of the erstwhile royal families of Balasinor, Gondal, Bhavnagar, Wadhvan, Chula and Sayla.Chefs Ranveer Brar and Gautam Mehrishi take you on a Royal Culinary Journey_1

“Food has been an integral part of royal celebrations and this show offers a glimpse of the rich culture and culinary heritage of India. What makes ‘Food Tripping’ even more unique is the camaraderie between Chef Ranveer and Chef Gautam!

“Their banter and synergy truly brings their experiences to life as they co-host the show. At Living Foodz, our endeavor has been to bring unusual and interesting content to urban Indian audiences, and this show is a prime example of this”, said Amit Nair, Business Head of Living Foodz.c700x420

Royal Feasts

Chefs Ranveer and Gautam will mark the beginning of ‘Food Tripping’ aboard the Maharaja Express. The journey entails the two culinary experts trying out and learning recipes from the royal kitchen, spending time with the families, understanding the fascinating position they hold in contemporary India as guardians of a long and rich heritage.

Ranveer Brar says, “I have always longed to experience royal culture first-hand. My journey with ‘Food Tripping’ made this wish come true, and it was nothing short of lavish!”

“We witnessed the remarkable hospitality of that India’s royalty is famous for and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit a bygone era and learn some closely guarded ancestral recipes.” adds Chef Gautam.sl-1

Multi-Cultural Experience

Apart from the royal picks from Indian, the show will also feature multi-cultural influences of the owners. Ingredients and techniques have been borrowed from as far and wide as Persia, France, Britain, Mongolia and the Deccan.

Starting May 30th, the show will be aired every Monday and Tuesday at 8.30 PM on Living Foodz. Tune in to treat your eyes to a delightful experience.Chefs Ranveer Brar and Gautam Mehrishi take you on a Royal Culinary Journey_3
