Ramadan, the sacred month in Islam, reflects cultural unity in The Ashok and respects for the unique bond the management shares with its guests.

This Ramadan, Hotel The Ashok celebrates the holy month by hosting a special Sehri and Iftar menu for the in-house guests at the coffee shop The Samavar. To pay regards to traditions of guests, the management provides special amenity ‘Prayer Mat’ to facilitate the course of festival. The Mats are being made available the moment guest check-ins the hotel.

During Sehri and Iftar, the lavish and freshly handpicked selection right from the starters, main course to the desserts is presented to delight the taste buds of the guests.

The course of Sehri begins with varieties of dishes made with eggs, to the mouth-watering ‘Fried fish’, ‘Mutton Rogan Josh’, ‘Chicken Nuggets’ served with traditional paranthas and roomali roti. To complement the after taste of these amazing dishes, milk and jalebi is served to the guests before they gear up for the 16hr long fasting.

The Iftar treat is a journey of flavours in itself. It begins with sacred Dates and refreshing drinks like nimbu paani and Sharbat–e–Gulab. To tune the palate for the night, the course delights with assorted vegetable/paneer pakora, Chicken-Do-Pyaaza, The Oudh’s special ‘Mutton Biryani’ with Naans, Roomali Rotis and Paranthas are on the platter. Exclusive salads and fresh fruits complement the meal to give guests a special ‘Ramadan’ experience.

The Sehri menu is complimentary for in-house guests whereas, the Iftar menu is priced at a nominal cost of Rs. 850/- (AI).
