Everybody’s making recipe videos these days. It’s a growing trend and a trend that has serious demand attached to it. Everyone wants to learn how to make the easy and delicious stuff and instead of reading a recipe online, people would prefer to watch a video and follow the instructions that way.

Hopping on this train is Oreo. You know the brand that has those delicious sandwich cookies? They introduce new and interesting and sometimes worrying flavours every now and then? Yeah, them. They’ve got two new special-edition flavours – Mint and Strawberry Cheesecake – coming out and packed foods conglomerate Mondelez is making its own version of these recipes inspired by the BuzzFeed Tasty-style recipe shorts.

Helping them out in this endeavour is Twisted – the food-themed social media channel of UK content production company Jungle Creations. And they’re putting together videos of crazy creations like Mint Oreo Dirt Desserts and No Bake Strawberry Oreo Cheesecake. They will be releasing six videos, and will also include other desserts like Strawberry Cheesecake Oreo Icebox Cake and Mint Chocolate Chip Oreo Lasagna – notice a trend with the flavours?

They’ve got a whole lot more up their sleeves, but you’re just gonna have to watch and find out. With recipe videos coming out of everywhere, these could get lost in the chaos, but if you’re a big enough Oreo fan, you could find yourself watching these religiously and getting inspired to make your own desserts. More than that, Oreo is making an effort to be health conscious, promising that their treats contain less than 250 calories.
