Learn Preparation Of Onam Sadhya at Jars & Journeys

It’s time to lay out those bright green banana leaves and celebrate Onam, Kerala style! This season learn how to serve and prepare your own Sadhya, as Jars & Journeys brings to you a 3 days extensive Onam sadhya workshop. Sadhya is a traditional feast of the Hindu Malayalis. Consisting of a variety of traditional vegetarian dishes, it is associated as ‘The Feast Of Gods’.

Join us at Jars & Journeys from 21st to 23rd August with Preetha Srinivasan who will teach you how to prepare some splendid  Sadhya preparations and also learn more about the Food of Kerala. The menu will consist of various dishes such as olan, kootu curry, upperi and much more. The workshop is divided into 3 parts, the first day you will learn some curries and gravies. The second day will consist of vegetables and rice. And the last day you will be taught side accompaniments. So book your tickets as we have limited seats available.
