This Pop-Up In Australia Is Serving Pokémon Burgers!

on

Pokémon fever is never going to die, not with the expansion and obsession with Pokémon Go. And while you think that the excitement might be dying down, these adorable burgers are going to change that completely.

Down-N-Out – a pop-up restaurant in Sydney, Australia from Hashtag Burgers – is the reason these burgers exist. They’ve taken food to a whole new level with these Pokémon inspired burgers. Using the three most popular Pokémon, they’ve created Charmander, Bulbasaur and Pikachu for food lovers and Pokémon addicts to indulge in.

Even better, when you visit the pop-up, you don’t get to decide which burger you get, it’s all a big surprise. Each burger flavour was carefully thought out and put together by Down-N-Out’s creative director, Ben Kagan, and made to match the personality of the respective Pokémon. And seriously, this just keeps getting better – each burger comes with a trading card that lists all the ingredients that are in the burgers.

“The flavours and the ingredients match the Pokémon’s style, character and colour. The Charmander is a little bit spicy, there’s kind of a volcanic cheese dripping off it,” Kagan from Hashtag Burgers told Mashable Australia. ‘The Bulbasaur is grassy and cleaner, but it tastes like a Big Mac actually – which is quite nice. The Pikachu is a bit sillier, with our ‘tiger fries’ through it.’

Each burger costs around $15 (Australian dollars) and will only be available till September 3rd! Gotta catch them all!
