Swiggy, you’ve done it again. Just a couple of days after announcing a tie up with popular Australian coffee chain, Di Bella in Mumbai, it’s now announced a collaboration with Pizza Hut. With this collaboration, Swiggy will work with Pizza Hut to bring the QSR’s full menu to customers’ homes.
Just in case you haven’t heard of it before, here’s a little about Swiggy.
A Bangalore based online food ordering marketplace, Swiggy ties up with restaurants and uses its logistics and delivery fleet to bring fare from these restaurants to customers’ doors. Through the platform, restaurants are able to expand their delivery reach and base while customers receive faster delivery, get to live track their orders and don’t have to deal with minimum delivery amounts.
Swiggy operates across 8 cities and over 100 neighbourhoods.
Pizza Hut Goes Swiggy
Pizza Hut is already offering a full menu delivery through Swiggy from 40 outels in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Over the next couple of weeks, the number of Pizza Hut outlets offering delivery through Swiggy will go up to 120 in all cities that the portal has a presence in (aside from Chennai).
Commenting on the partnership, Unnat Varma, MD – Indian Subcontinent, Pizza Hut said, “We are focused on offering a delightful customer experience on the basis of enhanced food variety, easy ordering and delivery parameters. With the growing prominence of tech enabled food solutions, we are confident that Swiggy will offer the same level of commitment in delivering exceptional quality to our customers.”
Similarily, Nandan Reddy, the Cofounder of Swiggy said “We are excited about our association with a popular consumer brand such as Pizza Hut. We are constantly working on increasing the choices for our customer. This also validates the capabilities we have built to become reliable partners who truly enable the delivery businesses of global brands”.
