Move over La Croix, there’s a new sparkling water in town. PepsiCo officially launched its own sparkling water line – bubly – last week, and it looks like the eye-catching cans are all set to be a hit!
Bubly has 8 delicious fruity flavors including, apple, lime, grapefruit, and mango which all come with their own cheeky greeting on the pop tab such as “hiii” or “haayy,” as well as a punny message on the can like “I feel like I can be open around u.” Hence, we can safely assume that their target market is millennials.
bubly has zero calories and no artificial flavors or sweeteners. They’ll be available in stores across America this month and come in 12-ounce cans (sold as eight or 12 packs) and 20-ounce single-serve bottles. While the cans will be in stores February 26, bubly will make its official TV debut during the Oscar’s broadcast on March 4.
“This is an exciting addition to our PepsiCo portfolio, which is why we’re committed to make bubly one of our biggest product launches to date and are introducing the new brand to the world during the Academy Awards,” Vice President of PepsiCo’s Water Portfolio Todd Kaplan said in a press release.
