Oreo Announced 3 New Awesome Fan-Created Flavors

A March 7, 2012 photo shows a plate of Oreo cookies in Washington, DC. Technically they're "chocolate sandwich cookies," a baked concoction of sugar, vitamin-enriched flour, canola oil, high-fructose corn syrup and, at the bottom of the list of ingredients, chocolate. But the Oreo cookie -- first baked in New York city 100 years ago on March 6, 2012 -- is much more than that. It's an American icon, the best-selling cookie in the nation, with plenty of fans around the world to boot. AFP PHOTO/Mandel NGAN (Photo credit should read MANDEL NGAN/AFP/Getty Images)

Remember Oreo’s new mystery flavour that was revealed last week? If you had guessed Fruity Pebbles, you were right. Now, that’s not it. Oreo has just announced a deluge of new Oreo flavours coming very, very soon.

Thanks to MyOreoCreation contest, which allowed fans to submit new Oreo flavour ideas, the Oreo Wonder Vault is turning three fans’ ideas into real life Oreo cookies that you can eat, and they are-Cherry Cola Oreo cookies, Kettle Corn Oreos cookies, and Piña Colada Oreo Thins cookies. If you think these flavours are a bit weird, don’t worry, Oreo had them “meticulously tested, tasted and reviewed”.

While it’s not yet known whether any of the three flavours will become permanent parts of the Oreo line, they will battle it out for the top spot in a public competition.

The Oreo Wonder Vault is also giving fans a sneak peek of the new limited edition flavours; Chocolate Hazelnut Oreo cookies and Spicy Hot Cinnamon Flavored Oreo cookies.
