Now, Burger King Teams Up With Four Other Burger Brands To Create A Peace Day Burger

on

After fast food chain McDonalds declined Burger King’s offer to create a McDonalds and Burger King collaboration burger; the McWhopper for Peace Day, Burger King has teamed up with five other fast food companies to set aside burger rivalries and create an awesome burger mash up

Come September 21st, which is Peace Day, Burger King in collaboration with Denny’s, Wayback, Krystal and Giraffa will be serving 1,500 burgers at a pop up store in Olive Garden, Atlanta.

What’s In A Burger?

The burger will contain ingredients from signature burgers from all the brands; Denny’s Bacon Slamburger, Wayback’s Wayback Classic, Krystal’s Cheese Krustal, Giraffas’ Brutus and Burger King’s Whopper.

The limited edition burgers will be served free on a first come first come basis. The brands have also announced that they will be donating to Peace One Day, a non-profit organisation.

When announcing the event, Burger King couldn’t help but hit back a little at McDonalds, who had so unceremoniously declined to be involved with the movement. Inadvertently, the McWhopper has 100 percent become a reality for some. The public wholeheartedly embraced the campaign and thousands of DIY McWhoppers have been created, reviewed and shared on social media,” said Fernando Machado, Burger King’s senior vice president.

Even if the McWhopper didn’t work out, we’re waiting excitedly for the burger hybrid to hit Atlanta.
