Delhi-based food service Yumist had till now been making ordering in an easy-peasy job for the folks in Gurgaon and South Delhi, but the Foodtech Start Up has finally crossed the Yamuna river and branched out to Noida.
Founded by former Zomato CMO Alok Jain and ace F&B entrepreneur Abhimanyu Maheshwari in November 2014, Yumist lets users order food via its mobile app. Further, via its logistics and supply-chain technology, the company makes it a point to get the food to the consumer’s doorstep within 30 minutes.

Yumist was also in the news a few months back – November 2015 – when it raised $2 million from Ronnie Screwvala’s fund Unilazer Ventures, existed investor Orios Venture Partners and Steven Lurie, a Valley-based investor.
The app-based service, which was till now active in Gurgaon, Delhi and Bangalore, will start by covering only parts of Noida – Film City and Indirapuram.
