The company has tied up with 200 restaurants and has over 200 delivery partners serving certain parts of the city. Bhavik Rathod, Head, UberEATS India, said the service soon be extended across Chennai. From Thursday onwards, UberEATS will start servicing in 4-5 areas like Alwarpet, Adyar, Nungambakkam and T Nagar.

Consumers can order using a separate UberEATS app from Android or iOS, and use the app to view the menu of the restaurants that have tied up with them.  The delivery charges are placed at Re 1 at an introductory offer. Yes, just Re 1 for delivery services! And guess what? There is no such thing as minimum order requirement. So, you can either just buy a chai from Chai Kings or order loads of biriyani! Now for those of you who will be stuck in meetings during lunch or dinner, you can schedule an order for a particular time.

The brand, Uber, is something that many customers trust and rely on. Uber is synonymous with speed, reliability and ease of use. And that’s exactly what this service is going to be. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and buy your food!
