NatureFresh Professional, the fastest growing national brand of bakery shortenings and margarine from Cargill’s food business in India, brought to its customers and bakers an eclectic range of recipes at the AAHAR Expo 2018. Curated by the brand, these innovative recipes were created using NatureFresh Professional Lite and were displayed at the brand’s stall at the Expo. The stall hosted four different and interesting baking sessions for Home Bakers and on Danish Pastry, desserts, and doughnuts, from March 13th to 17th, 2018. In addition, Karachi Bakery, one of NatureFresh Professional’s most important partners, showcased its range of products at the brand’s stall.
The brand also launched its recipe booklet, for the quarter, showcasing recipes which can be made using NatureFresh Professional Lite such as Chinese Taosu, Crispy Sesame Strips, Italian Plum Cake, Crisp Black Sesame Strips and Cheese Cracker. Aiming to add value for its customers, the brand showcased its products in this recipe booklet on a quarterly basis, enabling customers to understand new applications, which can be done using these products.
NatureFresh Professional provides the best-in-class range of bakery fats for Indian bakers and thoroughly understands the consumer trends in baking. The brand follows a comprehensive approach to creating these new recipes at its state-of-the-art Application Center.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Deoki Muchhal, MD, Cargill’s food business in India stated, “AAHAR is an ideal platform to reach out to our customers and as in the past, we continue to collaborate with AAHAR to increasingly engage with our customers and bakers while for the first time ever, extend our engagement to home bakers as well”, adding “We have a comprehensive range of NatureFresh Professional bakery shortenings under five brands – Classic, Select, Supreme, Elite and Delight; three variants of margarines -Champion, Genius and Master and Specialty fat, known as Lite.”
Over 2,500 visitors visited NatureFresh Professional’s stall this year, a number higher than the previous two editions of the Expo. Home bakers engaged avidly in the baking sessions at the stall and they appreciated the same. Along with this, the recipe cards launch received an overwhelming response and the new recipes were an instant hit amongst the bakers.
