Murasaki Imo- and other Japanese Purple Milkshakes

McDonald’s in Japan has decided to shake it purple. That’s right. The limited edition purple shake will be available in Japanese Mcdonalds’ this season. 

So what is this purple concoction that’s got the nation excited, made of? Sweet Potatoes? Nah. We didn’t make that up. Sweet purple potatoes that the Japanese are crazy about. Well, they do have sweet potato ice cream, so we’re on the right track. 

Come late October, these shakes will be long gone, so grab that sweet thing now!
