Mumbai, Spend Your Sunday At World On My Plate: A Food Festival Like No Other!

on

Mumbai, it’s been a long week. The sun has been breathing down our necks and yet we’ve still managed to get the sniffles from ACs set on full in the office. We need a break, some good food and the company of a few hilarious friends. We’ll be getting our fill this weekend at World On My Plate, an event hosted by Small Fry Co at Bandra’s Corona Gardens.

What’s To Eat?

Lots. And then lots more. True to its name, World on My Plate will be showcasing food from all around the world. If you want Indian food, look out for Le Kitchen, Catering & More which will set up a live counter making Amritsari khana. Nearby, Urbane Halwai will be making food from Delhi, with a twist.

Then move on to The Cutchi Memon Table which will treat you to some mouth-watering Pakistani food, or Pitaburg, which will be dishing out pita sandwiches. If you’re still not satiated, relish Mexican street food bites from Taim.

Then, appease your sweet tooth with parfaits from The Parfait Co (read our review here!) or with decadent waffles from The Belgian Waffle Co.

What’s To Drink?

If you feel like knocking back the booze, there’ll be a variety of craft beers on tap from Gateway Brewing Co. Barmobile will also be setting up a stall and serving some deliciously sweet sangrias for the day.

If you’re looking to be a teetotaller for the day, refresh yourself with cold pressed juices from JusDivine, a variety of teas from Exalte and mocktails from Ek Cutting.

What’s To Do?

Stuff your face, of course. There’ll also be a live jam session, so musicians can bring their guitars and voices to take the fun to the next level.

You better start prepping your stomach now. We’ll be seeing you!
