Fasting During Shravan
Shravan, or Sravana is a particularly holy month on the Hindu calendar. Some fast every Monday while others fast every day.
During Shravan, Hindjus also make a concentrated effort to eat ‘clean’ foods; many temple kitchens work overtime to prepare dishes that follow the Sattvik Diet – i.e, dishes which are pure vegetarian, natural and energy boosting.
Commenting on the specially desgined products for Shravan, Desai said ““These products are made carefully understanding the needs of the people during the fasting season. The idea is to offer our customers authentic and traditional products across different categories, adding flavours to all occasions.”
The new products are available on www.shop.mothersrecipe.com and Amazon, BigBasket and Grofers.
