Mira Rajput Craving Delhi-Style Momos & Chaat Is A 100% Relatable

on

Remember that time you had to shift base from one city to another and the food at the latter just wasn’t good enough? If you’re nodding fervently, chanced are you’re a Delhiite sitting in some other part of the country (or world). Because let’s face it, it’s not just the bevy of options provided by the Capital that make all Delhi people ardent foodies, but the sheer brilliance of each and every snack, street food, and fine dining that makes it difficult for most other cities to match up. Something Mira Rajput will also agree on without a shadow of doubt.

The 23-year-old moved from Delhi to Mumbai post her marriage with actor Shahid Kapoor in 2015. And while dropping jaws at major fashion weeks (the latest one being the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, where the Kapoors walked for Anita Dongre), looking after daughter Misha, and in general killing it on the tabloids may look like a ball, Mira’s innate Delhi self is craving her hometown’s street food, which to be honest is distinct to Dilli.

Recently, Kapoor took to Instagram to tell her followers just how much she misses the Capital’s street food. Especially “chhole bhature, tandoori momos, momos from the guy outside Prince Pan, and obviously, Big Chill.” Spoken like a true Delhiite! She went ahead to express her dismay over the lack of “momo places” in Mumbai. Something that every single person who moves out of Delhi weeps about. Kapoor went on to inquire about GK1’s popular N Block Market aloo tikki chaat. Yes, Mira. he’s still there.

Basically, Mira Kapoor is all of us, Delhi folk, when it comes to comfort food. Now isn’t that fun to know!
