Keeping it healthy, Milind Soman and Chef Rahul Dhavale, Executive Chef at The Westin Mumbai Garden City are going to be having a cook off session. Being held for health enthusiasts, the cook off is going to be held as a part of the partnership between the hotel and Pinkathon 2018. This year’s Pinkathon Marathon Mumbai ’18 spearheaded by Mr. Soman will be held on 16th December.
Cooking Healthy With Milind Soman
We spoke to Chef Rahul Dhavale about how he feels about having this cookoff with Milind Soman and he said, “I feel it would be fun, inspirational and a learning experience! We are cooking for a cause. I am looking forward to cooking with Milind Soman – he is at the vanguard of men & women’s health for a long time. I admire his athletic capabilities and salute his accomplishments.” The marathon is an annual ‘women only’ event and raises awareness about women’s health with a special focus on breast cancer.
The cook off is going to be held on 21st of December, about a week after the marathon and is focused on health. “The cook-off session is a platform where Mr. Milind Soman and I can explain by example the benefits of eating healthy and living a healthy and fit lifestyle,” said Chef Dhavale explaining us about the cookoff. “The Westin Mumbai Garden City is based on 6 wellness pillars – Eat Well, Move Well, Play Well, Work Well, Feel Well, Sleep Well; that help guests maintain their well-being, ensuring they can be the best version of themselves. This cook off session encompasses two very important pillars – Eat Well & Move Well.”
We also asked him as to what health dish was in store for the health enthusiasts and he said, “We would be making a salad of roasted sweet potato and squash, amaranth and goat’s cheese galettes, quinoa, seeds and leaves.”
