What ‘Michelin-Starred’ Dish Will Shake Shack Japan Be Serving Tomorrow?

on

Think ‘Shake Shack’ and you think burgers, fries and fast casual dining. However, just for a day, Shake Shack Japan is fancying up that perception by serving a ‘Michelin-starred’ burger in celebration of Shake Shake’s one year anniversary in Japan.

The Den Shack Burger

The burger, named the Den Shack burger, will feature a 100 percent Angus beef patty topped with bacon, red miso, marinated cucumbers nestled between two potato buns.

The burger has been created in collaboration with Zaiyu Hasegawa, who is the head chef at two Michelin star restaurant Jimbocho Den. Reportedly, Hasegawa visited a Shake Shack in New York and was bowled over by its fare.

Of course, Danny Meyer, the founder of Shake Shack is also familiar with Michelin stars having received them when working at Gramercy Tavern, the Modern and Eleven Madison Park.

However, it doesn’t look like Shake Shack Japan has long term Michelin plans; the Den Shack will be available only on November 3rd (yes, that’s tomorrow!) for ¥930(Rs.600).
