Michelin Starred Chef Alvin Leung Comes To Mumbai Next Week!
Remember back in April when we told you all about the Michelin pop up at the JW Marriott, Juhu in Mumbai? Well, in case you didn’t get to pay Mezzo Mezzo a visit, we’ll tell you that Chef D’Amato’s meal was a deliciously decadent success.
Now, as a part of their continuing Michelin Pop-Up experience, the JW Marriott will be hosting three star Michelin Chef Alvin Leung next week. Leung will be cooking an Oriental feast at Spices, the hotel’s Asian restaurant.
All About Alvin
Alvin Leung helms his three Michelin starred restaurant Bo Innovation in Hong Kong and Bo London in London. Nicknamed ‘The Demon Chef’, Leung describes his cooking style as ‘X-Treme Chinese’ which combines fusion Chinese fare with molecular gastronomy.
He’s also appeared on cooking shows like ‘Around The World in 80 Plates’ and MasterChef Canada, on which he’s a judge.
The JW Mariott
Leung will be serving a unique six course meal at Spices, with some of his signature dishes and new creations inspired by local Indian produce. “We are looking forward to the second edition of Michelin Pop Up after the success of the April stint. We are excited to welcome the people of Mumbai to try Chef Alvin’s extraordinary cuisine and we are delighted to continue to deliver on our promise to be the Home of Michelin Chefs in India,” said Pavithran Nambiar, the general manager of the hotel.
