Meet The New Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Forget all those delicious grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve been eating your whole life, because Kala Toast in Hong Kong just introduced the Rainbow Cheese Toastie which is going to blow your mind.
The sandwich – which really has a rainbow! – contains four types of cheese and costs about $42HKD (Rs. 360). Each colour of the rainbow is a different flavor too. According to hkfoodiexblogger on Instagram the flavours are “lavender (blue), basil (green), tomato (red) and the yellow one is actually a combination of 4 kinds of cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, emmental and gruyere)”.
Move over raindrop cake, this is the pretty new thing the world can’t stop talking about. While we can’t vouch for how good it tastes till we try it ourselves (which means travelling all the way to Hong Kong!), it’s still such a pretty sight, who wouldn’t want to eat it?
