A friend has just got a promotion at work and has invited you for a celebratory dinner at the Taj, the Oberoi, or any of Mumbai’s other fine dining restaurants. Your hair is coiffed, your nails are polished and you arrive at the restaurant feeling great. But then, disaster strikes.
Why are there four types of spoons? What are you supposed to do with your napkin when you get up? Is it appropriate to order the most expensive (and most delicious-sounding) dish on the menu if someone else is hosting you?
If these are questions that you’ve ever been faced with, or are worried that you’ll face in the future then you might want to cancel your Friday night plans and book a place in Femina Believe’s Dining Etiquette workshop.
The workshop will be teaching participants about different cutlery and glassware, appropriate table manners, napkin etiquette, meal time conversations and how to eat difficult foods such as fish, chicken and pizza. No longer will chicken go flying off your plate when you’re trying to cut it!
When: Friday 15th May at 11:00 am
Where: The Classique Club, Andheri West
Cost: Rs. 5000
Book: Book a place here.
