Mobikon, a marketing service for the F & B industry has announced that it has raised $ 2.3 million in a Series A-2 funding round led by Jungle Ventures.
Mobikon is a platform that helps a range of restaurants from fine dines to cafes better understand and engage with their customers. Through Mobikon, restaurants and customers can directly interact while the customers are ordering, making reservations and giving feedback. Mobikon also analyses the data it receives to understand customer requirements and response.
1500 Restaurants and 3, 113, 412 diners!
At present, Mobikon operates in Singapore, Manila, Dubai, Macau, Kula Lampur and India. Major clients include Copper Chimney, Maharaja Bhog and PizzaExpress in India. Real Time data reveals that it handles over 1500 restaurants and has engaged 3, 113, 412 diners.
With the current funding, Mobikon plans to aggressively and rapidly expand its presence in the countries in which it operates. “The F&B business across Asia is set for a period of unprecedented growth and Mobikon is ideally positioned to spur this growth and at the same time, to benefit from it. We expect to partner with 3,000 F&B outlets by end of this financial year and double the number in another year,” Mobikon co-founder and CEO Samir Khadepaun said in a statement regarding the expansion.
