Making Merry At The Christmas Cake Mixing At Hablis Hotel

The ambience was set on the rooftop at Hablis Hotels for their Annual Cake Mixing Ceremony. Celebrated during the early evening on 6th November and themed around a Chocoholics Christmas this event was celebrated with a close knit of guests and a few select invitees.
Celebrated at their rooftop wellness zone – Hablife, in the private function space, this zone was decorated in festive colors and Christmas cheer to commemorate the onset of the holiday season. Mr. Rajesh Devarajan, Managing Director welcomed everyone with a personal note, followed by their Wellness Chef Sathya guiding us through the ceremony.

This cake mixing was unique experience as the recipe followed was a recreation of the original 1968 recipe, using interesting ingredients like carrot, apples, orange segments, currants black , raisins, prunes, of course alcohol and more. We were certainly intrigued and over a lot of chatter and laughter poured the liquor into the mix and dug into the fun of mixing these interesting ingredients. After the ceremony we were guided to the open air table setup featuring an interesting display of Christmas themed bites and a lot of chocolate. Chef Sathya added that this dessert showcase was a precursor of what guests can expect to be offered at the bakery this Christmas and further added that they have already started taking preorder.

Sandwich: Tomato mozzarella, smoked salmon brioche, egg on foccacia
