In late 2016, we got a whiff of what was cooking in Chrissy Teigen’s kitchen – literally and literally – that is, a sequel to her popular cookbook, ‘Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat’, which came loaded with a bunch of amazing recipes and cooking and kitchen tips. Needless to say, Cravings was very well received and so Teigen announced a sequel, Cravings 2. The former American model took to Instagram in November 2016 to give us sneak peek into the sequel, which she was working on with Adeena Sussman, Teigen’s partner in recipe development.
Over the past one year, the 32-year-old mom of one (and soon to be a mom of two) has sampled a number of recipes, conducted polls via Twitter to ask her followers about what they would want to see in the follow-up cookbook, and even shared a few recipes on social media. All that has finally led up to the recent announcement that Teigen has finally finished putting together her recipe book.
Heading into the final week of recipe developing for #cravings2!!! You guys have been such a huge part of this one…I’ve loved seeing what you guys enjoyed making the most and learning what you want more of. You guys…are awesome. And I miss posting food. I’m going to instagram a lot more freaking food and if you don’t like it you can suck it! Love you. ???????????
Last week, while planning daughter Luna’s second birthday party and discussing Black Mirror, the scalloped potatoes expert tweeted, “I have officially finished my second cookbook.” Just like that, as if it ain’t no big deal! “[I] am wrapping up big fall project planning ohhhh it’s a joy!”, she added, clearly excited about her new release.
I have officially finished my second cookbook and am wrapping up big fall project planning ohhhh it's a joy! now I am planning a two year old's birthday party. I never thought I'd be this mom. I have always been so anti-parties they won't remember. who am I 😩😩😩
