Live Your Dreams At This Magical Harry Potter-Themed B&B

on

We’ve coma a long long way from some majorly milestone events in the past few years. For example, 2017 will mark the 20th anniversary of J.K. Rowling’s first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone — and the 10th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the series’ final book. That’s right 20 long years! And with a legend like the Harry Potter series, it is only fair that the boy who lived must be honored with something uber special!

Keeping up with all the magic that J.K. Rowling has penned over the decades, the Llety Cynin bed-and-breakfast in South Wales is giving you a chance to relive the fantasy lives the students at Hogwarts led. The B&B is planning a twice-weekly Wizard’s Tea event to take place throughout 2017, transforming its living and dining spaces into Great Halls and Common Rooms, and creating themed menus that feature delicacies like Hot Butter Beer, as Cosmopolitan U.K. reports.

The hotel has also created a special Overnight Family Package that includes entrance to the tea event and “a free Harry Potter-related book for each child to keep and take home.”

And to add to your wizardly experience, Llety Cynin will sort its guests upon arrival into Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, and sit in a common room set up like the Great Hall that’s covered in Hogwarts emblems.

Coming to the food, which also keeps up with the theme, the eatables are served in golden owl cages. The kids’ menu includes chocolate frogs, while the adults get gamekeepers’ rock cakes and so much more.
