KFC Forced To Pull Down New Ad After Twitter Uproar

What seemed like a just another new ad for fried chicken which was initially meant to be funny has caused a huge uproar among KFC fans. 

The ad in question: 

The ad released by the fast food chain in Australia, shows a man smiling down at his crotch as a woman reached towards the censored area just below his waist.

Within hours of releasing the ad, KFC Australia deleted the ad and issued an apology. 

“We are very sorry for our earlier tweet on H&S – we didn’t mean to offend and removed it when we realised we’d made an error in judgment,” the company tweeted.

In a statement to News.com.au, the company further explained, “this was a genuine tweet to launch KFC’s new Hot & Spicy chicken products next week. It was not intended to offend and we’ve removed the image.”
